Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Security professional to greet residents and guests, maintain safety, and operate security systems. You will log daily records, respond to emergencies, and support front desk duties within a Busy property environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, Florida security license, and 2–3 years of related experience. Bilingual Spanish/English is highly valued; schedule Thursday–Monday 7am–3pm with some on-demand shifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
College level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
Valid Florida Security License D.
Must possess strong customer service background.
Two to three years of business experience in a similar position preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual Spanish/English is desirable.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
Monitors and operates Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
Responds to emergency situations in a timely manner.
Monitors and controls access to the building.
Accurately maintains daily logs, records, and forms.
Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
Works shifts that are subject to change based on property needs.
Reads and understands The Continental Employee Handbook/Security SOPs.
Attends Security/Front Desk staff meetings.
May be assigned other duties by the on-site Community Association Manager.
