Job summary

Gaylord Hotels in Aurora, Colorado is seeking an entry-level management professional to support day-to-day Rooms Operations, including Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS and Concierge/Guest Services. The role focuses on guest arrival/departure procedures, maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while helping meet the operating budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• Or 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Admin, with 1 year experience.
• Experience in managing shift operations and guest interactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes Front Desk and housekeeping shifts and completes shift checklists.
• Runs and reviews room operations reports and unfamiliar incidents.
• Oversees Recreation, Laundry, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, AYS, Front Desk and Concierge/Guest Services.
• Schedules staff to meet business demands and tracks time and attendance.
• Ensures proper supplies and uniforms are available for staff.
