Job summary

Sesame Place in Philadelphia is seeking Ambassadors to assist guests with tickets, season passes, and park products, and to provide information on park events and experiences.

You will book reservations, handle guest inquiries, and help ensure smooth park operations while delivering friendly, high-quality service in a dynamic environment.

• Demonstrate excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Understand and demonstrate excellent guest service techniques.
• Maintain daily paperwork and inform leadership of guest trends/IT issues.
• Enroll guests in RAP and Special Access
• Inform Guests on RAP and Special Access guidelines

What it takes to succeed:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Must have minimum two (2) months experience as a Guest Arrival Ambassador with no significant performance deficiencies.
• Must be comfortable working with large crowds in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be prepared to work in all areas of guest arrival as team members are rotated daily.
• Must have excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Must have basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows' operating system.
• Must have strong comprehensive and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk in extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to process monetary transactions and accurately use a register.
• Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
• Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.

What else is important:

• Be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Be able to sit for long periods of time
• Perform tasks that require occasional bending from waist to floor, kneeling and squatting, and reaching overhead
• Position will perform frequent simple hand grasping and fine manipulation (use of keyboard/writing) work
• Be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat.
• Considerable walking and transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments is required
