Job summary

My Place Hotels of America is seeking a Guest Services Representative at the Fargo location. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, reservations, and guest charges while maintaining a high standard of service.

You will answer questions about local attractions, manage phone calls and wake-up requests, and support front desk administration. The role includes some light cleaning duties and promoting the Stay Rewarded loyalty program.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks accurately and on time.
• Reliable, professional, and consistent in performance.
• Meticulous record-keeping for guest charges and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during check-in and check-out, recording charges per hotel policy.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
• Operate the phone system, take messages, and manage wake-up calls.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
• Maintain front desk logs, Night Audit checklist, and incident reporting to GM.
• Promote the Stay Rewarded Loyalty Program to guests.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking duties, and respond to maintenance needs.
