Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a friendly Reception Desk Clerk I for weekend and weekday shifts at our Kohler, WI location. This entry-level role involves greeting guests, registering usage, and supporting facility operations with a positive, service-oriented approach.

The position requires 18+ years old to sell alcohol, CPR/AED certification (on-site possible), and strong communication. Hours are 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Reception Desk Clerk I is an entry-level position.
• No previous experience needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol.
• Certification Requirements: Adult/Child CPR and Adult AED training. These certifications can be completed on site shortly after employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, register usage in the computer.
• Act as control person for access to all areas of The Serve.
• Direct members and guests to appropriate areas and answer inquiries.
• Maintain knowledge of The Serve policies and explain them to members and guests.
• Enforce facility rules and SOPs, accident procedures, age restrictions, and complaint handling procedures.
• Respond to phone calls within 3 rings and deliver messages promptly.
• Maintain an orderly, neat reception desk.
• Assist in laundering towels and maintaining clean linen.
• Conduct facility walk-throughs for safety and cleanliness.
• Stock supplies at the facility and reception desk.
• Support cleanliness and report maintenance concerns.
• Provide information to management on facility operations.
• Promote Kohler destination offerings and memberships.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in events.
• Cross-train as facility attendant after hire.
• Handle multiple banks and ensure accurate transactions.
