Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Baton Rouge is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor who will lead the front desk operations, train staff, and deliver superior guest experiences. The role emphasizes coaching, mentoring, and implementing efficient processes to ensure quality service at check-in and check-out.

You will address guest needs, empower staff to resolve issues, and uphold brand standards while supporting a dynamic, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service leadership preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily front desk operations and coach staff to provide superior check-in/check-out experiences.
• Act as a problem solver for guests and empower the team to find win/win solutions.
• Implement and maintain processes to meet or exceed guest satisfaction measures.
• Ensure front desk staff are trained in operations, policies, brand requirements, and service standards.
• Recruit, mentor, train, and support staff to perform at their best.
• Provide development opportunities to strengthen leadership pipeline.
• Oversee cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables controls.
