Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
• Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
• Computer skills (POS system)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming manner and escort to tables
• Seat guests and manage flow of the restaurant
• Distribute menus and kid packs when seating guests
• Perform restroom checks and keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean
• Practice safe food and beverage handling
• Interact with guests and manage crowding while they wait
• Handle guest complaints with manager involvement as needed
• Handle cash and credit transactions and reconcile receivables
• Assist in marketing and promotions and communicate new offerings to guests
• Clear and reset tables; maintain clean dining areas
• Must perform duties with dependability and teamwork
