Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Hotel Host (Guest Service Agent) for full-time, hourly pay. You will welcome guests, assist at the Host Stand, Bakery Café, Guest Kitchen, e-room and TV den, and handle guest check-in and check-out with a focus on friendly, efficient service.

The ideal candidate has prior guest-service experience, strong English communication, flexibility for AM/PM shifts, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required, preferably in hospitality
• Able to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Strong command of English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced guest-interaction role
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be 18 years or older
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 20 lbs
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage the Hotel Host Stand, the Bakery Café, the Guest Kitchen, the e-room and the TV den
• Handle guest check-in and check-out and service the meeting rooms
• Provide welcoming, helpful and exceptional service to guests
