Job summary

Junior National Golf Club seeks an Outside Services Attendant to deliver first-rate guest service and support daily golf operations outdoors.

You will assist with golf carts, bag handling, range maintenance, pace of play, and course readiness, ensuring a safe, welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

This role requires a professional appearance, customer focus, and the ability to work in varying weather; a valid Arizona driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous customer service, hospitality, golf course, or outdoor recreation experience preferred.
• Previous golf course experience is helpful but not required.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, guests, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist golfers with golf bags, equipment, and general needs upon arrival and departure.
• Provide directions, information, and assistance regarding Club facilities and services.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a positive first and last impression of the Club.
• Assist with tournament and special event setup and guest support.
• Prepare golf carts for daily play, tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and inspect golf carts after use.
• Ensure golf carts are properly staged, charged, fueled, and operational.
• Report cart damage, maintenance concerns, and safety issues to management.
• Monitor cart availability and assist with cart fleet organization.
• Set up and maintain the driving range and practice areas.
• Pick, clean, and rotate range balls.
• Ensure adequate inventory of golf balls is available throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized practice facility.
• Assist with range closures and maintenance activities as directed.
• Assist with managing the flow of play and golfer movement as directed.
• Monitor the first tee and assist with player staging.
• Communicate course information, cart restrictions, and operational updates to guests.
• Support pace-of-play initiatives and operational standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness around the clubhouse, practice facilities, cart staging areas, and other designated locations.
• Follow all Club policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
• Report accidents, hazards, maintenance issues, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Assist with enforcing golf course rules and operational standards.
• Assist other departments during tournaments, outings, junior programs, and Club events.
• Support Golf Operations and Food & Beverage activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
