Job summary

The American Club in Kohler, WI is hiring a Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, professional guest service. You will handle check-in/check-out, cashiering and information, using Fidelio PMS, and manage inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ year prior experience as a receptionist or in customer service.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and focus on customer service.
• Must be able to be on feet for the majority of the day.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Previous Guest Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register guests in and out using Fidelio property management system.
• Provide prompt, courteous guest service during registration, cashiering, reservations and information.
• Block rooms, prepare folios, guest cards and program room keys.
• Handle money transactions following standard procedures.
• Know food and beverage facilities and hours.
• Post and record hotel gift certificates.
• Be knowledgeable about local attractions and services.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Handle guest complaints and inquiries; provide property tours as needed.
• Monitor direct bill routing and waitlist to maximize occupancy.
• Verify reservations 72 hours prior to arrival.
• Maintain guest literature inventory and wakeup schedules.
