Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites State College at Williamsburg Square is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests and efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs.

Responsibilities include processing payments, generating daily reports, assisting guests with local information, and maintaining courteous service during flexible shifts on-site in State College, PA. Prior hotel experience and bilingual ability are a plus; growth opportunities exist within Shaner Hotels.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
