Job summary

AvantStay seeks a Guest Services Associate to cover daytime and evening shifts (7am-3pm and 3-11pm) with weekend availability. The role supports front desk and concierge services at AvantStay’s luxury hotels, assisting guests from check-in to check-out and coordinating with other hotel teams for smooth operations.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, proactive, and capable of handling after-hours requests while helping maintain a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and internal teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and guest issue resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries and concerns.
• Provide concierge services including local recommendations and bookings.
• Manage guest issues and ensure satisfaction; assist with luggage storage.
• Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and availability.
• Troubleshoot minor maintenance and tech issues (TV, Wi-Fi, locks).
• Share area knowledge to enhance guest experience and satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with management and hotel teams.
• Help maintain a welcoming property environment and manage work orders.
