Summary

Responsible assisting customers and fellow employees with transactions and for balancing various bank drawers within the Club/Cage Department, maintaining accuracy throughout all phases of the balancing process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides smooth, courteous and efficient guest service in the execution of assigned duties including but not limited to greeting guest, attending guest at the club/cage area, assist guest with complaints, assist guest on the casino floor area and promotes club membership.
  • Assists with Casino promotions, buses and special events, as needed.
  • Issues free play to club members up to authorized limits.
  • Accurately balances assigned bank(s).
  • Cashes chips and gaming tokens into money for customers, in a courteous, timely manner.
  • Cashes approved checks and cash advances for currency.
  • Redeems foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates for the various currencies received.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of facilities, as well as special events on property, in order to advise customers of same, whenever possible.
  • Assists other Guest Service Host within the Cage/Club, as needed.
  • Facilitates the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Maintains a clean working area and constantly stocks work areas.
  • Resolves minor customer conflicts, which relate to the department.
  • Registers new guest into our Players Club membership at assigned work area and prints club cards when requested by guest.
  • Assist customers when their accounts are locked out.
  • Make and receive banks for other authorized departments keeping banks along with paperwork secured.
  • Pays out Jackpots, Giveaways, handpays etc. ensuring all paperwork is correct and accounted for.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or (GED) required. Some college courses in Banking and Finance or related area preferred.

Special Qualifications

Effective communication skills required. Must be extremely numbers-oriented and computer-literate.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense reasoning to a variety of situations.
