Job summary

Watermark Baton Rouge is seeking a part-time Bell Person to provide attentive luggage assistance from check-in through checkout. You will escort guests to rooms, help with luggage, and maintain a warm, professional demeanor in all interactions.

The role reports to the Front Office Manager and requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; hospitality experience is a plus and a courteous, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort hotel guests to rooms and assist with luggage to and from guestrooms.
• Transport guests to Baton Rouge Metropolitan airport and other local venues.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and grooming at all times.
• Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor with guests and colleagues.
• Be attentive, courteous and helpful to guests, managers and fellow employees.
• Communicate effectively with guests and other hotel departments.
• Answer guest questions about services, facilities and hours of operation.
