Job summary

The Sheraton San Diego Resort is seeking a Bell Attendant to assist guests with luggage on arrival and departure, plus offer directions and transportation help. You will escort guests in a professional manner, provide courteous service, and maintain lobby and bell closet cleanliness while supporting other hotel departments as needed.

Responsibilities include handling luggage safely, assisting guests with maps, and resolving questions promptly.

Qualifications

• Understand hotel mission and guest service goals.
• Ability to prioritize with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and handle luggage safely.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and assist with luggage and directions.
• Handle luggage safely and store/retrieve as needed.
• Maintain lobby, bell closet, porte cochere, and parking lot cleanliness.
• Be familiar with all room types and hotel facilities.
• Know groups and functions scheduled in the hotel daily.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are in good order and stocked.
• Answer guest questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist guests with maps and directions using the computer.
• Notify management of shift activities and safety concerns.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards and hotel safety procedures.
