Job summary

Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club in Georgetown, TX is hiring a Part-Time Guest Services Attendant. You will help guests with bag handling, golf club cleaning, and cart operations in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven setting.

Join Troon’s Outside Service Team and contribute to a welcoming guest experience. This role offers tips eligibility, golf privileges, staff uniforms, and other benefits; prior experience is not required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean golf carts for play following Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club standards.
• Perform range maintenance and manage range ball inventory.
• Maintain the cart staging area, podium, and bag drop area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with bag handling and club cleaning.
• Direct start of play and educate players on course policies and pace of play.
• Clean golfers’ clubs after play and maintain rental clubs records.

Education

Cimarron Hills Golf and Country Club located in Georgetown, Texas, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Guest Services Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Prepare and clean golf carts for play following the standards of Cimarron Hills Golf and Country Club.
• Perform range maintenance such as setting up and maintaining range and chipping green presentation, maintaining a large amount of range ball inventory, and picking and cleaning range balls.
• Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
• Direct start of play, including educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play and so forth.
• Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play and maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
• Complete daily project list.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Service customers who are renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears; occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts; may come into contact with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

Certificates/Licenses:

Valid Driver's License.

• Position is for our Outside Service Team. Team members will be eligible for tips, golf privileges, staff uniforms and more.
