Job summary

Chandler Park Golf Course in Detroit, MI is seeking a Guest Service Attendant to be the frontline contact for golfers, managing daily operations, tee times, and customer service in the pro shop.

You will check in players, handle sales at the POS, assist with merchandise, carts, and course information, with a friendly attitude and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Description

A Guest Service Attendant acts as the primary point of contact for golfers, managing daily operations, tee times, and customer service in a golf shop. Key responsibilities include checking in members/guests, processing sales transactions, maintaining shop cleanliness, and assisting with merchandise inventory. They often manage cart assignments, provide course information, and support tournament operations.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 DOE

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Check-in: Greeting golfers, managing reservations, checking in players, and answering phone inquiries.

Sales & POS Operations: Handling cash and credit card transactions, selling merchandise, and processing rental equipment fees.

Merchandising & Inventory: Stocking, organizing, and displaying merchandise, as well as assisting with inventory counts.

Operations & Logistics: Assisting with cart staging, monitoring the tee sheet to control pace of play, and performing opening/closing procedures.

Expected to assist with food service and carts as needed.

Maintenance: Keeping the pro shop and surrounding areas clean, organized, and tidy.

Required Skills and Qualifications
