Job summary

The North Carolina Zoo is seeking a detail‑oriented Cash Management/Reservation Assistant to support front‑line guest services and cash operations. You will process advance ticket sales, assist with daily cash office tasks, and use POS and online reservation systems to ensure accurate records and smooth operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in cash handling and reservations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with cash handling and guest‑services is preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale or reservation software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between the Reservations/Advance Ticket Sales Office and the Cash Management Office as needed; cross‑training provided.
• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and online to internal and external customers.
• Process park ticket sales through group sales, picnic rentals, online sales, and other channels.
• Maintain accuracy entering data and operate POS and reservation software.
• Remain accountable for cash and deposits, and assist with daily financial reporting.
