Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a Night Auditor to uphold high guest standards overnight and maintain a safe, secure property. You will be the face of the hotel, ensuring excellent service from curb to room.

Responsibilities include front desk duties, luggage assistance, group registrations, rate knowledge, and handling transactions, with a focus on guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three to six months related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid food handlers card and alcohol service card can acquire after hire.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Ability to interact with all guests and team members in a polite and positive manner.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and create effective resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily front desk duties including check-ins/outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay overs, and rate types of rooms.
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Completing group pre registrations and blocking room reservations, pre registering VIPs.
• Maintaining knowledge of current hotel rates, sales strategies, and room availability.
• Balancing paperwork, cash drawer deposits, reconciling credit cards, and submitting batches.
• Act as a reference for guests needing assistance or information, including transportation.

What to expect

• Completing daily front desk duties including check insouts room scheduling room moves late checkouts stay overs and rates and types of available rooms as well as responding to other requests from guests and providing welcome beverage and barista services as needed
• Assist arriving and departing guests with their luggage to and from guest rooms
• Completing group pre registrations and blocking room reservations as well as pre registering VIPs
• Maintaining knowledge of current hotel rates sales strategies current special rates and types and locations of available rooms
• Balancing paperwork cash drawer deposits reconciling credit cards and submitting batches
• Act as a point of reference for guests that require assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements This includes their transportation needs
• Acquiring and sharing knowledge of the hotel as well as the surrounding areas venues and attractions

Your experience and qualifications
