Job summary

Global Partners LP in the United States, Connecticut, West Haven, is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to supervise staff, coach on service standards, and oversee cash handling and POS procedures. The role emphasizes guest experience, safety compliance, and maintaining shop floor operations throughout shifts.

The position requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends or holidays, with a strong focus on organization, reliability, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Must be efficient and organized.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to access all store areas: selling floor, stock area and register.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (cooler, outside, etc.).
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees ensuring adherence to management directives.
• Coach staff with constructive feedback and guest service focus.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate POS per corporate standards and manage cash levels.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety policies are followed.
• Oversee 24/7 guest service programs and processes.
• Handle cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards, checks.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and products are in stock.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints; check in vendors as needed.
