Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is hiring a friendly server to join our dining team at Temple, Texas. You will greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure accuracy while accommodating substitutions, with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

We require at least 1 year of experience in hotels, banquets, or events, the ability to multitask, and clear communication. This role demands flexible shifts, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in hotels, banquets, or events.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take all food and beverage orders.
• Ensure all orders are accurate with requests and substitutions.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items with ingredients with relation to common dietary restrictions.
• Pre and post bus tables in assigned station.
• Responsible for receiving all payments accurately and timely.
• Performing necessary opening/closing and side work duties.
• Prepare food items for guests such including appetizers, sides and desserts.
• Assist other servers with their tables.
• Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par.
• Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
• Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
