Job Title: Guest Service Representative (GSR)

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Guest Services Manager

Job Summary

If you are passionate about customer service and creating a welcoming environment, this role involves assisting guests at the front desk, answering questions, and leading a team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Your friendly and efficient service will make a difference.

Responsibilities
  • Provide helpful, professional guest service, including greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  • Lead by example, uphold service standards, and guide team members (Service Desk, Cashiers, Baggers, Cart Runners).
  • Utilize leadership tools such as evaluations, coaching, and manuals.
  • Oversee operations, monitor activity, ensure compliance, and maintain department cleanliness.
  • Support and direct guests, manage checkout lines, and assist the team as needed.
  • Manage staff schedules, adjust operations based on needs, and ensure legal compliance with labor laws.
  • Maintain staffing levels by proactively calling in additional team members.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, especially regarding minors.
  • Optimize scheduling based on sales and traffic.
  • Communicate with shift managers to coordinate assistance and responsibilities.
  • Manage lane flow, open additional checkout lanes during busy times, and keep cash drawers available.
  • Track attendance and manage cart availability efficiently.
  • Maintain regular attendance and support the team with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and adjust schedules.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, kneel, and operate equipment. Must be able to lift and handle merchandise, and work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time hourly position with flexible scheduling including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
