Job Title: Guest Service Representative (GSR)
Reports to: Guest Services Manager

As a Guest Service Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. Your responsibilities include assisting guests at the front desk, answering questions, and leading a team, all while providing friendly, efficient service.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Provide Helpful Service: Handle guest interactions with professionalism and care, including greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns, to make a positive impact daily.
- Lead by Example: Reinforce company culture, uphold service standards, and guide Guest Service associates (Service Desk, Cashiers, Baggers, and Cart Runners) in daily operations.
- Utilize Leadership Tools: Use evaluation forms, coaching tools, and manuals to support team development and operational standards.
- Oversee Operations: Monitor guest service activities, ensure procedural compliance, and maintain department cleanliness and functionality.
- Support: Direct guests, manage checkout lines, and assist the Guest Service team as needed.
- Monitor & Adjust: Manage staff schedules, adapt operations based on business needs, and ensure legal compliance for minor employees.
- Maintain Staffing Levels: Proactively call in additional team members during absences or busy periods.
- Enforce Labor Laws: Schedule minor employees appropriately for breaks and clock-outs, adhering to legal guidelines.
- Optimize Scheduling: Adjust daily staff schedules based on sales and guest traffic to maximize productivity.
- Communicate with Shift Managers: Notify them when assistance is needed or when handling guest service responsibilities.
- Manage Lane Flow: Open additional checkout lanes during busy times and keep cash drawers available.
- Track Attendance: Use the GSR Shift Report to document lateness and absences.
- Cart Management: Ensure sufficient carts are available by monitoring collection and distribution processes.
- Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
- Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands include standing for long periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and manual dexterity. Ability to handle merchandise, operate equipment, and work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Schedule
This part-time position may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on individual availability.
