Job Title: Guest Service Representative (GSR) | Reports to: Guest Services Manager

As a Guest Service Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience. Your responsibilities include assisting guests at the front desk, answering questions, and leading a team. Your friendly, efficient service will make a difference.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
- Lead by Example: Reinforce company culture, uphold guest service standards, and guide Guest Service associates (Service Desk, Cashiers, Baggers, Cart Runners) in daily operations.
- Utilize Leadership Tools: Use tools like evaluations, Coach’s Reminder Cards, daily reports, reference binders, and the Guest Service OPPS Manual.
- Oversee Operations: Monitor guest service activities, ensure team compliance, and maintain department cleanliness and functionality.
- Support: Direct guests, manage checkout lines, and assist the Guest Service team as needed.
- Monitor & Adjust: Manage staff schedules, adjust operations based on business needs, and ensure compliance with labor laws for minor employees.
- Maintain Staffing Levels: Proactively manage staff coverage by calling in additional team members when necessary.
- Enforce Labor Laws: Schedule minor employees appropriately for breaks, lunches, and clock-out times, following legal guidelines.
- Optimize Scheduling: Adjust daily schedules based on sales, item movement, and guest traffic to ensure productivity.
- Communicate with Shift Managers: Notify managers when assistance is needed or when handling guest service responsibilities.
- Manage Lane Flow: Open additional checkout lanes during busy periods and keep a cash drawer available if necessary.
- Track Attendance: Use the GSR Shift Report to document lateness or absences.
- Cart Management: Ensure sufficient carts by monitoring collection and running processes efficiently.
- Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
- Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- Ability to handle merchandise, fixtures, and perform all functions listed above.
- Work hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on individual availability.
