Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner, following LBA standards of friendly hospitality while adhering to guidelines and procedures.
  • Execute selling strategies to enhance hotel revenue.
Pre-requisites
  • Access to guestrooms and property; honesty and trustworthiness are essential. Must pass security clearance.
  • Experience in service, sales, telesales, or guest relations is helpful but not mandatory.
Essential Job Functions
  • Perform activities such as standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking, and communicating.
Specific Requirements
  • Push or pull 60 pounds; lift/carry 30 pounds.
  • Stand for eight hours; bend, stretch, reach.
  • See and hear adequately.
  • Speak and read English; additional languages may be helpful.
  • Display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness.

  • Property details, staff, services, operations, rates, discounts, and reservations procedures.
  • Reservations, cancellations, guest management, and phone etiquette.

  • Computer literacy for property management systems.

  • Multitask and maintain a guest service focus.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and staff, relay information accurately.
  • Handle guest issues professionally and hospitably.
Responsibilities
  • Greet, register, assign rooms, and respect guest privacy.
  • Promote hotel services and amenities.
  • Encourage repeat business and handle future reservations.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
  • Verify credit cards, utilize PMS, balance transactions.
  • Assist with F&B and property cleanliness.
  • Follow emergency procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain certification if serving alcohol.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Use communication logs and maintain stock and cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions

Stand and walk for long periods; follow laundry procedures; assist with linen folding.

Advancement Opportunities

Potential to move into training roles, leadership, or management positions such as AGM or GSM.
