Job summary

CMC Hotels’ Courtyard Raleigh-Cary/Crossroads is seeking a friendly Part-Time Guest Service Representative to welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and help create memorable stays in Cary, NC.

Open availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous front desk experience is preferred, but training is provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with genuine hospitality while providing efficient check-in and check-out services.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Answering phones, processing reservations, and accurately handling guest accounts and payments.
• Communicating effectively with fellow team members during shift changes to ensure seamless guest service.
• Becoming knowledgeable about the hotel's amenities, local attractions, and surrounding area to assist guests.
• Promoting Marriott Bonvoy membership and supporting brand initiatives.
• Maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming front desk environment.

What You'll Do

As the first and last impression of our hotel, you'll play a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences by:

• Welcoming guests with genuine hospitality while providing efficient check-in and check-out services.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Answering phones, processing reservations, and accurately handling guest accounts and payments.
• Communicating effectively with fellow team members during shift changes to ensure seamless guest service.
• Becoming knowledgeable about the hotel's amenities, local attractions, and surrounding area to assist guests.
• Promoting Marriott Bonvoy membership and supporting brand initiatives.
• Maintaining an organized, professional, and welcoming front desk environment.
• Following all CMC Hotels and Marriott brand standards, policies, and cash-handling procedures.
• Supporting teammates and assisting other departments when needed to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous hotel front desk experience is preferred, but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with computers and hotel operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Must have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
