Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to provide high-quality service at the front desk.

You will operate electronic scanning cash registers, process payments, apply discounts and coupons, and assist customers with Loyalty Program questions while bagging items. You will also handle money orders, lottery tickets, and wire transfers, manage returns and gift cards, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience or related role.
• Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and money handling equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow uniform policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and process payments including discounts and coupons.
• Assist customers with Loyalty Program questions or sign-ups and answer inquiries.
• Handle money orders, lottery tickets, and wire transfers; process returns and gift cards.
• Keep the Customer Service Desk and front area clean and presentable; replace display stock as needed.
