Albertsons Companies is seeking a Customer Service Clerk to deliver high-quality service at the front desk. You will operate registers, handle payments, apply discounts, assist with Loyalty Program sign-ups, bag items, and manage money orders, lottery, and transfers.

Qualifications

• Customer Service Skills: Prior customer service skills or related experience.
• Technical Skills: Operate electronic scanning cash registers, money-counting machines, wire transfer processing, and lottery.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Handle stressful and complex situations calmly and professionally.
• Communication Skills: Understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Organizational Skills: Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and keep area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Operate electronic scanning cash registers and process payments.
• Honor discounts and coupons and assist Loyalty Program sign-ups.
• Bag items and handle money orders, lotto tickets, and wire transfers.
• Process customer returns and sell gift cards and lotto tickets.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and front display area.
• Restock displays and follow uniform and grooming policy.
