Yoke’s Fresh Market is seeking a friendly associate to provide a positive checkout experience and hospitable service. You will greet guests, scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers with a welcoming attitude.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than high school or up to 1 month related experience.
• Language skills: Reads and comprehends simple instructions; communicates pleasantly with guests.
• Mathematical skills: Basic money and weight measurements.
• Reasoning ability: Common sense in standard situations.
• Other qualifications: Washington State minor work authorization if under 18.

Responsibilities

• Report to shifts on time and provide excellent service to guests.
• Promote sales by discussing promotions and product recommendations.
• Assist guests by packing purchases and delivering them to their vehicle.
• Perform routine store maintenance and keep areas clean.
• Bag groceries and restock supplies at checkout.
• Restock bags and other checkout materials.
• Mentor new associates and foster a positive learning environment.
• Follow safety protocols and participate in store evacuation planning.
• Note: under 18 restrictions may apply to certain equipment.
