Yoke’s Fresh Markets is seeking an energetic team member to ensure a pleasant checkout and professional service at the store. You will engage guests, process purchases, and represent our brand with a positive, hospitality-driven approach.

Core duties include assisting guests, promoting current promotions, maintaining store cleanliness, and handling bagging and delivery tasks. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills: Reads and comprehends simple instructions, short correspondence; communicates with guests and fellow associates.
• Mathematical Skills: Performs basic money, weight, and volume calculations.
• Reasoning Ability: Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Other Qualifications: Washington State Minor Work authorization for under 18.

Responsibilities

• Reporting for assigned shifts on time and communicating clearly.
• Promoting sales through discussions with guests and discussing promotions.
• Aiding guests with packing, delivering purchases, and answering inquiries.
• Performing routine store maintenance and cleaning when necessary.
• Bagging groceries and carrying out orders to customer vehicles.
