Job summary

SpartanNash in Bismarck, ND is seeking a part-time Cash Office Associate to support cash handling, maintain confidentiality, and help front-end teams follow store policies during transactions.

You will balance cash and media, operate registers, and assist with audits and safety procedures. A high school diploma and basic math and computer skills are required; a friendly, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Observe confidentiality of all company records and financial information and safeguard against unauthorized access to such information at all times.
• Support front-end activities to help ensure cashiers follow store policies when handling transactions, including cash, checks, debit/credit/EBT cards, ID verification, over-rings, refunds, bottle returns, vendor coupons, gift cards, and lottery ticket sales.
• Accurately operate cash register, display cost of customer purchase, make change, cash checks, and issue receipts.
• Accurately balancing cash and media to ledger and ensuring cash is controlled and safely deposited.
• Maintain records on cash controls for internal audits.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines; follow Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations; follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
