Job summary

IHOP is seeking a friendly server to deliver food and beverages and provide attentive guest services in a fast-paced dining environment. You will greet guests, suggest items, and ensure accurate order delivery via POS, while maintaining cleanliness and teamwork throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include responsible alcohol service, payment processing, and duties like side work and table maintenance to support a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication required.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds regularly.
• Ability to wipe table tops, legs and pick up debris from floors and booths.
• Must obtain a valid food handler’s card prior to employment.
• In Oregon must obtain an OLCC license within 45 days of employment.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and drinks to guests.
• Provides responsible service of alcohol to guests.
• Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions.
• Interacts verbally with guests to create a friendly atmosphere.
• Relays orders to bar and kitchen via POS system.
• Observes guests, anticipates and responds to requests.
• Presents guest checks, processes payment and makes change.
• Assists in cleaning and resetting dining room tables.
• Completes cleaning tasks and assigned side work.
