Hyatt, Destination by Hyatt The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, seeks a part-time Valet Attendant. You will relocate guest vehicles, assist passengers during loading/unloading, and coordinate with guest services to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role requires attentiveness, clear communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Training and performance rewards are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Compute basic arithmetic.
• Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.

Valet Attendants welcome and create the first impression upon guest arrival. This may include assisting the passengers during the loading and unloading process. Their primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently relocate guest automobiles to designated parking locations. This role requires precise communication and coordination with the hotel guest services and knowledge of daily events.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.


• Compute basic arithmetic.


• Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.


• Provide legible communication and directions


• Clean driving record, must have and maintain a clean record (no points on Driver's License)

• Escort arriving guests, provide basic hotel information and orientations to the guestrooms park and retrieve guest vehicles in an efficient and prompt matter


• Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation

• Pay rate: $9.50/hour (base pay) w/daily tips
