Hyatt is seeking a Valet Attendant at The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, NC. You will greet guests, assist with loading and unloading, and relocate vehicles to designated spots with precision and care.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a courteous, professional demeanor, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Pay is hourly with tips, and benefits apply after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Provide legible communication and directions to guests.
• Must have a valid NC driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Demonstrate calm, organized approach in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and park/ retrieve guest vehicles efficiently.
• Relocate guest automobiles to designated parking areas with care and speed.
• Communicate clearly with guests and hotel staff to coordinate services.
• Support guest services by providing basic information about the property.

• High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• Compute basic arithmetic.
• Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
• Provide legible communication and directions
• Valid NC Driver’s License
• Clean driving record, must have and maintain a clean record (no points on Driver's License)

• Pay rate: $9.50/hour (base pay) w/daily tips
