Job summary

Kitchen Kettle Village is seeking a Guest Service Associate for the Harvest Café in Intercourse, PA. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area.

You will greet guests, manage dining spaces, and assist with menu knowledge while building relationships with tour guides and guests. Rate is $12–$15 per hour plus tips, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Accurately handle all money transactions, close registers, and reconcile cash at end of day.
• Assist with opening and/or closing the Café as needed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness by clearing tables and sweeping floors.
• Greet guests, address service issues, gather feedback, and share Village information.
• Ensure front-of-house cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Complete operational logs (HACCP, Cleaning, Opening/Closing, First Aid).
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and communicate it to guests.
• Build relationships with regular tour guides and bus drivers.
• Maintain proper food handling procedures and cleanliness of serving areas.
