Job summary

European Wax Center in Olympia, WA is hiring a Guest Service Associate to greet guests, sell wax passes, and educate clients on our products and promotions. You will manage front-of-house operations, assist guests, and maintain centre appearance while following company policies.

This is a sales-oriented, customer-facing position with a strong emphasis on delivering a memorable guest experience. The role requires a high school diploma or GED or 1–2 years of related experience, with an hourly wage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or one–two years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Selling wax passes.
• Opening and closing procedures of the centre.
• Managing the flow of guests in and out of the centre and assisting with questions as needed.
• Educating guests on European Wax Center's product portfolio, Strut 365™ and demonstrating products on guests, and benefits and savings of Wax Passes and consistency with waxing.
• Maintaining the front of the centre, restocking product shelves and refilling brochure and card holders.
• Educating guests on current in‑centre promotions.
• Checking their schedule on a weekly basis.
• Arriving to work on time wearing the dress code and name tag.
• Following all corporate policies and procedures.
• Participation in community events and street team marketing when requested.
• Participate in all weekly Strut Sessions and on Strut Bloomfire by commenting on questions and posts.
• Creating a memorable guest experience using EWC terminology and tailored scripts.
• Maintaining and exceeding centre and individual goals.
• Centre cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The role of a Guest Service Associate (GSA) is the first and last impression of the guest's entire experience, so it is important to always maintain a cheerful and positive attitude. A Guest Service Associate is able to work with like-minded individuals who share in their excitement and passion for Revealing Beautiful Skin. Even better, a GSA shapes the future of EWC and supports guests in feeling gorgeous, radiant, and confident in their own skin. Please note that this is a sales position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Selling wax passes.
• Opening and closing procedures of the centre.
• Managing the flow of guests in and out of the centre and assisting with questions as needed. The Reservation Book regarding the guest's requests and associate's availability.
• Responsible for educating all guests on European Wax Center's product portfolio, Strut 365™ and demonstrating products on guests, and benefits and savings of Wax Passes and consistency with waxing.
• Responsible for maintaining the front of the centre, including, but not limited to, restocking product shelves and refilling brochure and card holders.
• Responsible for educating guests on current in‑centre promotions.
• Responsible for checking their schedule on a weekly basis.
• Responsible for arriving to work on time wearing the appropriate dress code and name tag.
• Responsible for following all corporate policies and procedures.
• Participation in community events and street team marketing when requested.
• Participate in all weekly Strut Sessions (If Strut Session is on a day associate is not scheduled, the associate will attend a minimum of 1 Strut Session per month).
• Participate on Strut Bloomfire by actively commenting on questions and posts.
• Responsible for creating a memorable guest experience by utilising EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the location.
• Responsible for maintaining and exceeding centre and individual goals.
• Responsible for centre cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skill Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; or one–two years related experience or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
