Job summary

Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore is seeking a friendly Guest Service Ambassador to ensure a warm welcome and smooth departure for guests. You will handle reception tasks including check-in, check-out, and assist guests with requests while maintaining accurate billing and currency handling per hotel policy.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in hospitality, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude.

The Guest Service Ambassador plays a primary role in ensuring a positive arrival and departure experience for all guests. Reception tasks and duties includes checking in and out and providing assistance to guests.

Our Expectations:

• Provide an efficient reception experience for guests, including check-in, check-out and complete audit procedures, as required.
• Demonstrate an updated knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, surrounding events and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.
• Use the correct procedure regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance to the hotel credit policy.
• Process guest credit at check-in and check-out in accordance with the hotel’s policy.
• Identify and record special billing instructions and act accordingly.
• Ensure that the Guest Service Team Leader on duty are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments.
• Communicate any special requests by guests to the appropriate department, or otherwise seek the assistance and guidance from the Guest Service Team Leader or Duty Manager.
• Communicate any positive and negative guest comments to the Guest Services Team Leader or Duty Manager.
• Inform the Guest Service Team Leader, Duty Manager and concerned departments about any potential credit risks.
• Report all incidents regarding Health & Safety, injury or damage to the Guest Service Team Leader, Duty Manager and Security Manager in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the safety of all guests at all times.
