Guest Service Agent - Hilton Austin (Finance)

HILTON AUSTIN IS LOOKING FOR HARDWORKING PEOPLE TO JOIN THEIR FRONT OFFICE TEAM!

Located in Downtown Austin, our hotel is connected to the Austin Convention Center via a covered walkway. We are close to East Sixth Street nightlife and the Rainey Street Historic District.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, your responsibilities include greeting and registering guests, assisting with check-out, providing information about hotel services and local attractions, promoting hotel amenities, responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and handling messages efficiently.

  • Greet guests, complete registration, input and retrieve information, and assist with room assignments.
  • Assist with check-out, manage payments, and process transactions accurately.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel offerings and local area to answer guest questions.
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues amicably.
  • Handle guest complaints, conduct research, and negotiate solutions for satisfaction.
  • Receive and relay messages to guests.
