Job summary

The Quail is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team in Carmel. The role supports both full-time and part-time schedules, handling guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and information on local attractions.

Ideal candidates bring prior hotel front desk experience, excellent communication, and strong computer skills. This position emphasizes guest satisfaction and teamwork with housekeeping and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education, training, and experience
• Great verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Must be outgoing, sociable and well spoken
• Prior hotel front desk experience required
• Opera/ Opera Cloud experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-in and check-out and provide knowledge about the property and local attractions
• Provide prompt and courteous switchboard services by taking reservations and transferring calls
• Work with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are cleaned on time and special requests are honored
• Support the Front Office Department in delivering exceptional guest experiences

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Full-Time & Part-Time Guest Service Agent to support our Front Office Department.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for all guest services related to the objectives of the property.
• Handle guest check-in, check-out and sharing general knowledge about the property, our company, and local attractions.
• Provide prompt and courteous switchboard services by taking reservations and transferring phone calls.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to ensure rooms are cleaned on time and special requests are honored

General Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education, training, and experience
• Able to work in fast-paced environment
• Great verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Must be outgoing, sociable, and well spoken

Salary: $24.25 per hour
