Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality Management LLC is seeking a Guest Service Agent at the Rancho Cordova Homewood Suites by Hilton. The role is available as part-time and full-time, emphasizing a warm, professional guest-facing approach and delivering a great first impression during check-in and daily interactions.

You will handle front desk duties, assist with breakfast, keep records, and support hotel operations while joining a supportive team across hotels.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling guest concerns.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Check guests in and out and assign rooms.
• Answer phones, route calls, and accurately take guest messages.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly.
• Handle guest information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Complete front desk paperwork, logs, and reports.
• Perform property walks and maintain a clean lobby and areas.
• Assist with breakfast service and keep area stocked.
• Provide wake-up calls and assist with special requests.
• Communicate important information to the team via the pass-on log.
• Support sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Assist with laundry and other hotel operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
