Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality Management is seeking a Guest Service Agent for the Residence Inn Largo. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, answer calls, and maintain guest records in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role emphasizes friendliness, professional communication, and the ability to handle confidential information. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid vacation; a Daily Pay option is available.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a genuine desire to help guests.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and calm under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential guest information with integrity.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Check guests in/out and assign rooms.
• Answer phones, route calls, and take messages.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Complete front desk paperwork, logs, and reports.
• Keep lobby and common areas clean and welcoming.
• Assist with breakfast service and keep area stocked.
• Provide wake-up calls and help with special requests.
• Support sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Assist with laundry and other hotel operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Check guests in and out and assign rooms.
• Answer phones, route calls, and accurately take guest messages.
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle guest information and records with confidentiality and integrity.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Complete required front desk paperwork, logs, and reports.
• Perform property walks and help maintain a clean, welcoming lobby and common areas.
• Assist with breakfast service and keep the area clean and stocked, as needed.
• Provide wake-up calls and assist guests with special requests.
• Communicate important guest and property information to the team through the pass-on log.
• Support hotel sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Assist with laundry and other hotel operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
