Job summary

The Rio Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for guests, team members and property. You will respond to emergencies, deter threats, and enforce company policies with calm, professional conduct.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of guest-contact experience, strong observation skills, and the ability to write clear reports. This role requires 21+ and flexibility to work any shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in a position with direct guest contact.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Must possess good oral and written communication skills along with a good working knowledge of basic computer programs
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of guests and team members.
• Escort customers when needed and assist authorities.
• Investigate and document incidents per policy.
• Conduct money escorts and jackpot verifications.
• Provide first aid including CPR when necessary.
• Patrol property to identify hazards and security gaps.
• Prepare detailed written reports.
