Job summary

Rio Las Vegas seeks a Special Events Security Officer to maintain a safe, orderly environment during high-traffic events. You will monitor spaces, control access, respond to incidents, and assist guests, staff, and organizers while following security procedures.

Responsibilities include escorts, bag checks, coordination with Showroom Management, and incident reporting with thorough documentation. Evening and weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills under stress.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to de-escalate and manage potentially volatile situations.
• Ability to document incidents clearly and write statements.
• Familiar with emergency exits, equipment and basic first aid procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor event spaces and control access during special events.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with management and authorities as needed.
• Escort guests and staff, including VIPs, and provide directions.
• Assist with Lost and Found and report safety concerns.
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and document actions.
