Job summary

InTown Suites in Columbia, South Carolina is seeking a Property Attendant to help maintain a comfortable, safe, and quiet atmosphere for our guests. The role requires you to live on property during the term of employment and serve as the after-hours emergency contact for the site, following the guest agreement guidelines.

You will perform nightly rounds and inspections, report safety or security issues to the General Manager or local authorities, greet guests, respond to requests, and assist

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in internal hotel information.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English efficiently.
• Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep watch on the property when the office is closed.
• Report safety or security issues to the General Manager, or local authorities/emergency services when warranted.
• Respond to guest needs, complaints and/or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Establish good communication and professional relationships with property guests.
• Assist guests with minor maintenance issues.
• Follow on-call schedule and complete rounds/inspections as directed.
