Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Room Service Server at Hilton Indianapolis to deliver meals with proper etiquette, greet guests, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience during their stay.

This part-time hourly role requires a HS Diploma, TIPS and Food Safety certified staff, and completion of a background check. Duties include answering phones, taking orders, relaying orders to kitchen or bar, delivering and clearing trays, and maintaining a clean service area.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• TIPS and Food Safety certified.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes at the room service station.
• Answers room service phone within 3 rings, answers questions, and takes orders from guests.
• Relays order to kitchen and/or the bar.
• Arranges orders on service trays, ensuring flair, sanitation, and timeliness of delivery.
• Collects trays delivered to keep hallways clear and assist the guest through the removal of food.
• Completes side work as deemed necessary by management to ensure the smooth operations of the department.
• Other duties as assigned by the leader
