Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas is seeking a Room Inspector to inspect guest rooms and public areas, provide coaching to the housekeeping team, and ensure adherence to brand standards. The role supports leadership in scheduling and training, with emphasis on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

The candidate will have at least 1 year in hotel housekeeping, familiarity with systems like HotSOS/OnQ/Opera, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time on-site position in Dallas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality coursework or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, condition and compliance with brand standards.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Room Attendants to correct deficiencies.
• Ensure rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies.
• Communicate maintenance issues and follow up for timely resolution.
• Assist in training new housekeeping staff on procedures and standards.
• Support scheduling, assignments and workflow management for housekeeping leadership.
• Verify completion and accuracy of daily cleaning assignments.
• Assist with inventory counts, supply control and documentation as needed.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
