InTown Suites in Columbia, SC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. You will perform routine and deep cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, laundry areas, and common spaces according to company standards and guest-service expectations.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and superior customer service as you restock supplies, operate housekeeping equipment, and report safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping/laundry procedures and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to clean the minimum required rooms per shift.
• Able to scrub surfaces and perform overhead cleaning; stoop, bend and squat.
• Willing to work across housekeeping/laundry positions as needed.
• Ability to visually inspect cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to multitask in stressful, time-constrained situations.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to standard operating procedures.
• Remove trash from guest rooms and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all areas meet company standards, even if not assigned.
• Clean bathrooms including tub, toilet, sinks, and lighting.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas including refrigerators and tables.
• Vacuum and wash floors per procedures.
• Maintain furnishings by dusting and polishing.
