Qualifications

• Ability to bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathrooms.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information and services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings left behind.
• Use written communication to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping supplies and amenities for each room.
• Observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms.
• Clean assigned guest rooms and complete housekeeping checklist.
• Mark rooms as clean for supervisor inspection.
• Report damages, hazards, or lost items to management.
