Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to clean and maintain guest rooms to company standards. This role operates in a 24/7 hospitality environment with varied shifts and responsibilities across housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, entering rooms, ensuring cleanliness, and reporting hazards, while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathrooms.
• Ability to stand and walk for varying lengths of time.
• Ability to talk to different kinds of people to provide information and services.
• Ability to visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and belongings left behind.
• Ability to use written communication to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Dexterity to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping supplies to ensure rooms are properly cleaned.
• Observe knocking procedures when entering a room.
• Clean guest rooms and restock amenities.
• Mark rooms clean for inspection.
• Report damages or hazards in rooms.
• Secure doors after leaving rooms.
• Keep corridors and service areas neat at all times.
• Return lost and found items and keys to proper place.
• Follow safety and security procedures and rules.
• Know fire prevention and emergency procedures.
