Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to clean and maintain guest rooms to the company standards. You will stock supplies, ensure rooms are prepared for occupancy, and follow safety procedures to provide a safe, comfortable guest experience.

Responsibilities include knocking before entry, reporting damages, and keeping public areas neat while adhering to company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds and bathroom.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Stock housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning supplies, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
• Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room.
• Cleans the guest rooms assigned. Ensures the amenities are stocked for each cleaned room.
• Accurately marks clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Reports any damages or hazards in guest rooms.
• Secures guest room doors upon exiting the room.
• Keeps the corridors and service area neat at all times.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed.
